Regathering! UPDATE

UPDATE:  8/8/2020 - WE ARE RETURNING TO OUR 11:00 AM GATHERING TIME, STARTING 8/9/2010, STILL IN THE FLC.  MAKE PLANS TO JOIN US!

5/13/2020 - We're back! That is, we are beginning the process of getting back to normal. This Sunday, Hopewell Baptist Church will be regathering. Our state is reopening nearly everything and many churches have began to gather, and so we believe this is the time for us to begin the process.

First, I want to start by encouraging our elderly and those who are most vulnerable to continue staying at home. I know that we have many who dearly love church and feel the need to be at the church no matter what. However, this is a time where the vulnerable do need to take things much slower. Also, we realize that many may still be uncomfortable attending. So, we will continue to have the Facebook LIve service for those who are uncomfortable or who don't need to attend yet.

Next, we will still be meeting at 10 am. The main reason for this is because of the Facebook livestream "traffic" on Sundays. We will be meeting in the FLC so that there will be more space for social distancing. We will have hand sanitzer/alcohol wipes available around the buliding, and we will have masks available for any who might want one.

To begin, we will not have Sunday School, nursery, or children's church. We want to reopen slowly and in phases. We also ask that you respect the social distancing rules, as we will be following the CDC guidelines on gatherings. So, while you may not be worried about anything, there are others who are, and we want everyone to be comfortable. So, just be willing to keep your distance. One day things will be fully back to normal, but right now we want to move cautiously.

I'm excited to see some of your faces this Sunday!

We have 3 ways you can join us on Sundays; In the Family Life Center, In the Parking Lot - Tune you Radio to Station 95.7 and/or on Facebook Live.

Serving Him,

Dalton Fowler
