This was brought to Pastor Dalton’s attention by Fostering the Family. They stated that some of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to supporting their organization. Words from Kim Saylors: Our 3rd Quarter focus will be Children/Orphans, so for July we will be collecting for Fostering the Family. These are the two areas that they currently need help with, and a little bit about them. Any of the items that you feel lead to help with will be greatly appreciated.
1. Supplies for children in care.
Michales room is a Clothing Closet in North Augusta that supports local Foster Families and Families in the DSS system. They are currently in need of new or gently used towels and wash cloths (no hand towels), crib sheets, mattress protectors, hooded bath towels and washcloths, children’s hairbrushes, prepackaged children’s underwear (new).
2. Summer camp needs for children in low-income housing.
Camp Gravatt and Camp Sertoma sponsor summer camps for local children in low-income housing. They are in need of sunscreen, bug spray, reusable water bottles, children sun screen, hotel size shampoo and lotion.
Please pick up WMU Booklets of previous meetings from front bulletin table, offering bowl table and the magazine rack on the wall next to the door of the Educational Building hallway
