Hi Ladies,
I just want to thank you all so much for the birthday surprise during our April WMU meeting, all of the cards & gifts, cake and yummy food. Y’all really know how to make a girl feel special. I love and appreciate all of you!
And a big thanks to Gary for sharing what God had laid on his heart to share with us.
You did an amazing job putting together the Veteran Home snack bags. We delivered them on Monday after our meeting and they send their thanks for your kindness and appreciate everyone remembering them.
For our May 4th meeting we are so excited to have Nicole speaking and sharing with us starting at 10am and then we will be honoring and showing love and appreciation to our very own church elders ages 60 and older with a special lunch at the church from 11am - 12pm.
The menu will be as follows:
Turkey
Ham
Dressing and Gravy
Cranberry Sauce
Macaroni Cheese
Green Beans
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Carrot and Raisin Salad
Cantaloupe
Ambrosia Salad
Roll
Cornbread
Pie
There will be a signup sheet placed on the table in the sanctuary side room so that we can get an accurate count of who will attend and if transportation is needed.
